Boarding Ladders: 4 x sets steps/hand-grips recess at sideshell located at port and starboard

sides

Patch Fenders : 2m high x 3m long x 25mm thick wood block

DECK FITTINGS

Mooring Bollards

400mm Dia. Sch. 80 seamless-pipe double-bit and 600mm Dia. Sch. 80 seamless-pipe

single-bit mooring bollards are fitted on main deck.

 Towing Brackets and Fairleads

 Smit Towing Brackets and Towing Fairleads are fitted on forward and aft main deck.

 Anchor Windlass

 The vessel is equipped with a hydraulic anchor windlass powered by an air-cooled diesel

engine complete with hydraulic power pack, local control stand, skid mounted.

Anchor and Chain

One (1) unit of 1920 kg AC-14 bow anchor connected to grade 2 chain cable 38mm diameter.

6 x 27.5m.

Chaffing Chain

Two (2) lengths, each 8m length x 50mm Dia. Grade 2 stud link anchor chain with adjoining

chackles are attached to the forward Smit towing brackets.

Navigation Light

Stern light, sidelight to be Sola or battery operated type.

Manholes

Watertight manholes are provided for each WB / void compartment. All manholes are located

on deck with flush type cover.

Size of manholes are with 710mm x 510mm clear opening.

Ladders

Ladders are fitted from all manholes to all void space below. All ladders are bolted with

stainless steel bolts and nuts.

Winch house

One (1) of ample size house with sufficient maintenance space.

1) One (1) number lockable weather-tight door.

2) 2) Openings with chaffing arrangement for retrieving line.

3) 3) Louvers for fresh-air intake and hot-air exhaust.

Two (2) water ballast pumps, each 1500m3 / hr at 25m head is fitted in machinery room.

They are driven by directly mounted diesel engines (2 x Volvo D9-MH). Control at control

room on main deck.

One (1) vacuum pump is fitted for stripping of ballast water by vacuuming the ballast pump

suction at tanks.

MACHINERY SYSTEMS

Water ballast piping system is fitted for water ballast tanks. Suction from sea chest in

machinery room. One branch is fitted for each tank with butterfly valve in machinery room.

Sounding pipe fitted for each water ballast tank. Sounding pipe head on deck is of flush type.

Vent pipe is fitted for each water ballast tank. Vent head is installed at main deck side.

Water ballast pumps

Two (2) water ballast pumps, each 1500m3 / hr at 25m head is fitted in machinery room.

They are driven by directly mounted diesel engines (2 x Volvo D9-MH). Control at control

room on main deck.

One (1) vacuum pump is fitted for stripping of ballast water by vacuuming the ballast pump

suction at tanks.

Machinery room

One machinery room is provided at forward hull, for housing of ballast pumps, valves and

manifolds etc. Access from main deck bobby hatch with water tight door. Ventilation fans to

be provided. Checker plate flooring with angle bar installed.

GeneratorOne diesel generator of 15kW is installed in machinery room, 415v/3/50hz, which is aircooled, battery started, running on MDO. Self-contained lub oil system is provided.
